It is with great sadness that we begin today's email with the news of the passing of past member Barney Scully. Barney won National Championship titles in the Idle Along Class (Moffat Cup) in 1955 and the Flying Fifteen Class in 1966. He was a great club historian and was an integral part of the information collated for the Club's centenary book A Century on the Bay written by Gavin Pascoe.
A service is being held to celebrate Barney's life at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Tuesday at 1100hrs.
