2021 NZ O'pen Skiff Nationals: COVID Update

IMPORTANT ANNOUCEMENT

Unfortunately due to the Covid Alert Level changes we will not be sailing the remainder of the races in the 2021 New Zealand O'pen Skiff National Championships being hosted at Evans Bay Yacht & Motor Boat Club.

We will however be completing the following activities for the event on Sunday 28 February:

0900hrs Prize giving for Gold fleet only

1000hrs Prize giving for Silver & Development fleets

We are really disappointed that we are unable to celebrate the achievements of all sailors together, but splitting the prizegiving sessions is the best way to continue in the current situation.

Please remember to follow all COVID protocols including:

Use the Contact Tracing systems

This includes either the NZ COVID Tracer App or physical sign in sheet

Maintain safe physical distancing where possible

If you cannot maintain physical distance from people you do not know, we encourage you to wear a face covering.

IF YOU FEEL UNWELL DO NOT ATTEND PRIZEGIVING

Unwell means: - more tired the usual - flu like symptoms - loss of smell or taste - a persistent cough - a sore throat
