Weekly News: Telfy

It is with great sadness we start this week's email with the news that Telfy (Barry Telford) passed away on Monday.

Telfy was a long standing member of EBYMBC and RPNYC and spent a huge amount of time out on the water enjoying Wellington Harbour, the Marlborough Sounds and any other spot he could find.

A service to celebrate Telfy's life will be held at St Peter's Anglican Church, 211 Willis Street, Wellington, on Saturday 18th July at 1100hrs followed by a few drinks here at the Club.

To honour Telfy on Saturday during the racing we will have black ribbons available for members to attach to the leach of their sails as a make of respect.
