Barton Marine Winter Series: Race Day 2

Well the forecast isn't looking the best, but fingers crossed that we will get some sailing tomorrow. We will be making every effort to get some racing happening as long as it is safe to do so!

We wish to bring your attention to Rule 4 of the Racing Rules of Sailing which states:

4 DECISION TO RACE

The responsibility for a boat’s decision to participate in a race or to continue racing is hers alone.

Please consider your ability before launching (and while on the water) and make sure you are comfortable with your decision. The water (and air) temperature is currently DAMN COLD, which makes sailing much more difficult (and less enjoyable) than over the summer months.
