You would have all heard the announcement this afternoon from the NZ Government advising that the COVID-19 alert level has been lifted to level three and in 48 hours will be raised to level four.
The Management Committee have been working on an action plan to give some guidance as to what each alert level looks like in terms of EBYMBC operations. This plan can be viewed by clicking here.
The current scenario means that the clubhouse itself is being locked this evening and will remain locked for the foreseeable future.. The slipway will also be suspending activity as soon as possible. While the slipway operation is winding down over the next 24 hours the changing room toilets will be available for use (please try to minimise this use).
Once the slipway operation has ceased, and while the NZ Government alert level remains at four, the changing room toilets will also be locked and therefore none of the club facilities will be available for use.
Our General Manager will continue to work from home, he has full access to emails and is contactable via 027 636 6465 should you need to discuss anything with him.
We realise that the club is an important part of many people’s lives, it is important that we do our part and follow the government’s instructions. This will reduce the impact of this virus so that we can return to “normal” and enjoy the club again as soon as possible..
