Saturday 24 November dawned warm and humid with very little breeze and the forecast to get more humid (read: start raining) as the afternoon progressed.

With a light southerly pushing through late morning it was decided to race the Charlotte Challenge Trophy for the Cruising Division within Evans Bay (giving an opportunity to shorten the course should the breeze drop).

Racing started in a nice 7-8 knot southerly with conditions warm enough to make it "shorts and T-shirt" sailing. But as the afternoon progressed the rain began to fall and has the rain got heavier and heavier, the wind got lighter and lighter.

This resulted in the Cruising Division course being shortened and the other divisions only getting one race completed (they were scheduled for two).

Results for the day can be found on the 2018-19 Results Page.
